Rejuvenating the Spirit of the Human Service Workforce
The New Age of Aging, an initiative of the Alliance for Children and Families, and the Helen Bader Foundation are sponsoring a luncheon with Dr. Cynthia Stuen. She will speak about cutting edge concepts to rejuvenate the spirit of the social and human services workforce as it relates to serving an emergent older adult population.
A winner of the American Society on Aging's Leadership Award, Cynthia Stuen, DSW/Ph.D., currently works as senior vice president of policy and professional affairs at Lighthouse International. Dr. Stuen served as delegate to the White House Conference on Aging in 2005, and she brings 35 years of experience in the field of ages to her position as chair of the board of directors of the American Society on Aging, which she assumed in March 2008.
Local human and social service professionals have been invited to this event. Please remember to register for this special keynote luncheon, as no registrations will be accepted at the door.
